Genius Scan

This non-cydia app called the Genius Scan turns your iPhone into a pocket scanner. This allows you to quickly take photos of various documents, process the images and then send the scans via email to your business clients. I tested the app on my iPhone and it really works.

Here is how the app works – you either take a photo or find an existing photo in the camera roll and then, the Genius Scan app processes the image and places an orange box around it which specifies the edges of the document. All depends on how crisp the photo is. So, if you take blurry photos, the the app’s ability to recognize words will decrease a big deal. If the photo is clear, you will be impressed by the results.
